В этом году, на Великий праздник Рождества Христова, мы молились в Самоанском христианском центре - место, которое мы надеемся в скором будущем приобрести как приходской центр и новый храм.
Накануне праздника батюшки отслужили Утреню для молодых семей с детьми, а в 22:00 началась Праздничная всенощная, которая завершилась первой в истории Русского православия в Новой Зеландии ночной Божественной Литургией (причастников было 80 человек). Утром была отслужена вторая Литургия (причастнико 95, в основном дети), и с детьми была проведена Елка и были розданы подарки.
This year for the Great Feast of the Nativity of Christ we prayed in the Samoan Christian Centre, which we hope to purchase soon as our parish centre and new church.
On the eve, Matins was served for families with young children. The Vigil began at 10 pm and ended with a Midnight Liturgy (there were 80 communicants), the first-ever Midnight service held for Nativity in New Zealand. Later that morning, a second Liturgy was celebrated (95 communicants, mostly children) with the Сhildren's Yolka and gifts following.

Fr Eugene is named for Holy Martyr Eugene, one of the Five Martyrs that the Holy Church honours on December 13/26. On that day, Fr Eugene concelebrated with the newly-ordained Fr Daniil. Fr Vladimir sang on the kliros with our 3 matushki. God grant Fr Eugene Many Years!
После праздничного обеда в Крайстчерче, Владыка поехал в Окланд. Вечером, всенощная совершалась в воскресенском храме, а Божественная литургия в воскресенье утром в сербском храме, т.к. алтарь русского храма не вместил бы священнослужителей (особенно при рукоположении о.Даниила Милвуд во иереи), и сербский храм более вместительный.
After the Festal lunch in Christchurch, Vladyka traveled to Auckland. Vigil was celebrated in the Church of the Resurrection. The Divine Liturgy on Sunday morning was served in the Serbian church, since the altar of the Russian church was not large enough to accommodate the clergy (especially during the ordination of Fr Daniil Millwood to the Priesthood), and the Serbian church is larger.

К празднику Владыка прибыл в Крайстчерч. Всенощная служилась в русском храме, а Божественная литургия во вместительном румынском храме.
Vladyka traveled to Christchurch for the Feast. The Vigil was celebrated in the Russian church, but the Divine Liturgy was served in the more spacious Romanian church.

Vladyka Metropolitan Hilarion began his visit to NZ in Wellington on Saturday December 12. A group of our parishioners traveled there to take part in the celebrations.
Соседний Сербский приход назван в честь святого Короля Сербского Милютина. Отец Владимир и о. Даниил участвовали в праздничной архиерейской службе в воскресенье 15 ноября, а о. Евгений прибыл к торжественному обеду, после службы в нашем храме.
The neighbouring Serbian parish is named in honour of St Milutin, the Serbian King. Fr Vladimir and Fr Daniil took part in the Hierarchical services on Sunday Novemeber 15. Fr Eugene joined them for the Festal lunch following services in our church.
On October 2/15 our parishioners were invited to the Chapel of Sts Cyprian and Justina at the Delmonte residence for the annual celebration of the memory of the martyrs. A moleben was served at 19:00 in English with a shared dinner following.

По благословению владыки митрополита Илариона, Божественная литургия праздновалась по Пасхальному чину, с пасхальными стихами в начале и царскими вратами открытыми в течение всей службы. Our Parish Feast was celebrated on Thomas Sunday. With Vladyka Metropolitan's blessing, we served the Divine Liturgy according to the rubrics of Holy Pascha, with the Royal Doors open for the whole service and the Paschal verses at the beginning of the service. Due to the rainy weather we served a Paschal moleben instead of the traditional Festal Procession. Photos of the feast can be found here.

After the Paschal services in Auckland, Fr Vladimir and two choir members flew down to Wellington to serve Divine Liturgy and bring the joy of Pascha to our parishioners there.

On Sunday November 16, Fr. Vladimir celebrated the first Divine Liturgy in Church Slavonic in Nelson. the service was held in the Anglican Chapel of the Holy Evangelists.
